Standing Strong

Standing Strong is a support group designed to foster strength within individuals who have a loved one serving in the military. Spouses, significant others, children, parents, friends and more from the campus and community are welcome to participate! We will offer a range of workshops and activities, including health and wellness, coping with stress, and unstructured chat sessions for those days you just neet to talk. We invite you to join us and find support from others who are experiencing the unique challenges and sacrifices of having a loved one in the Armed Forces.

Regular weekly meetings are held Mondays at 6:00pm in the West Chester University Veterans Center at 624 S. High Street. Additional meetings are held on evenings and weekends according to the wishes of the group members. About Us

We are working to make the Veteran Center a single location, either on the web or at the Center, for Veterans, Active Guard/Reserve and their families to find the support and services that will make their education and career goals a reality. Career advancement, tutoring and counseling services, or maybe just a place to relax and grab a cup in between classes.
